Visualize to Realize
Throughout my life I have the expression "what you can visualize, you can realize" or something similar. My first exposure to this concept goes back at least 30 years with my reading of "The Inner Game of Tennis", which also addressed how importance of the mental aspect of sports. As Yogi Berra said, "Baseball is ninety percent mental and the other half is physical."
So it is in sports, it is in business. Being mentally prepared for the next sales call or management presentation or customer meeting or job interview is a key to success, just as much as being physically prepared. Having a clear goal, being mentally and physically prepared and visualizing the outcome ahead of time will give you the confidence to succeed.
